Rohirrim Stamp by E-Spy Rohirrim Stamp by E-Spy
Where is the horse gone? where the rider?
Where the giver of treasure?
Where are the seats at the feast?
Where are the revels in the hall?
Alas for the bright cup!
Alas for the mailed warrior!
Alas for the splendour of the prince!
How that time has passed away, dark under the cover of night,
as if it had never been.

(from Wikipedia)

I didn't spot a stamp devoted to the Rohirrim yet, so I decided to make one.

Design is the banner of Rohirrim from the Lord Of The Rings movies directed by Peter Jackson. The original Rohirrim are of course copyright to J.R.R. Tolkien.

So nothing in this is mine. : D

To me, the Rohirrim, horse people, are possibly the most enjoyable aspect of the whole book. Also, the best part of the RotK movie, in my opinion, is the part where Rohirrim come to Gondor's aid. And the Rohan theme made for the movie always makes me cry. As does thinking of how Théoden passed away. (Also Éomer is hot.)

I think that's more than enough reasons to make a stamp. : D
The Rohirrim are just made of awesome, epic and win~

Ride Rohirrim. Ride now!
That moment in The Return of the King where they gather again after a hard battle and charge against the 2nd wave... the mammoths.
Pure epic heroism & self sacrifice..
I am so proud to collect this stamp, thank you for making it ^^

Beautiful work I adore the Rohirrim, they are my favorite of the two human kingdoms in Lord of the Rings. It is so cool you made a stamp for them! I must favorite :+fav:

oh yeah, if I had a chance to ride away to distant galaxies, I wouldn't be able to decide weather it would be oldold dusty West or middle-earth...maybe both? cowboy in middle-earth...I like that idea.
*cough*Well to the point!;]
I like this, it's simple but it works. It's damn small though, but stamps on the other hand tend to be.
Fresh thing! Would look good stamped, with that post's blue ink...

That would look... weird. : D Or more like out of context. But that's not necessarily bad either~ Maybe Middle-Earth will get a kind of a wild west after Aragorn's time passes? I'd pretty much want to see that.

And thank you. <3
